Anna's Retired

AKA THE NUTSHELL, VOLUME 3. After my Mom suddenly died 55 yrs young, I journalled every morning over coffee. When I filled a complete notebook,it represented my life in a Nutshell, which felt "Nuts" at the time. Writing is an armor against what is bothering you, a "shell" of sorts. So I enteratined myself by flipping that journal over and writing "the Nutshell" on the front...I found it so clever I named the second notebook I filled "The Nutshell, Volume 2". Sometimes you feel like a Nut...

Christmas 2006

I am now chasing a walking toddler so the time to post has been cut in half, add in teh Holidays and work and I have little time. The new year is here but it feels like it is flying. The 'thing og the week' this week is to walking down the street or around the driveway, prefereably with a playground ball or our basketball. She goes to the door and whines and tries to pry it open. And we just walk around out there, that is all she wants to do. She also has discovered her crayons. Some drawing, mostly carrying and eating them. I love this picture in this coat. This was one of her coats she got for Christmas. PRECIOUS!
